Since 1985, Heidts has been engineering world-class suspension systems for street rods, muscle cars and trucks. From its 50,000-square-foot facility in Illinois, Heidts designs and builds everything in-house, from precision plasma-cut components to fully tested systems, ensuring fast turnaround, quality craftsmanship and proven performance on and off the track.
Competition in the restomod chassis and performance suspension space is fierce, with many brands competing heavily on innovation, fitment and value. Customers now compare suspension and chassis systems in more detail than ever, considering durability, adjustability, finish and price before making purchasing decisions.
While Heidts has strong advantages with its heritage, in-house manufacturing and track-proven engineering, the brand lacked a modern marketing infrastructure. Without an email list-building system or automated customer lifecycle flows, Heidts was losing high-intent website visitors and missing opportunities to nurture repeat purchases.
In Q2 of 2025, Kahn Media fully audited Heidts’ marketing landscape. The findings were clear: Heidts had the product expertise and brand trust but needed a modern platform to drive scalable revenue.
Our team centered the solution around building a robust email marketing program from the ground up. The first step was creating a high-converting opt-in pop-up on Heidts’ website, offering a 10% discount for new subscribers. This gave prospective customers an immediate incentive to join, while providing Heidts with a direct-owned channel for engagement.
From there, we architected seven fully automated email flows from welcome series to product cross-selling to guide prospects and customers through the complete buying journey.
Each flow was tailored to Heidts’ unique buyer journey and directly integrated with the website for real-time behavioral automation. The email flows ensured every customer received the right message at the right time, without requiring extra work from Heidts’ internal team.
Within the first month of launch, the results exceeded expectations:
Founder Wallace Ley noted that the increase in website sales has become a bright spot in the company’s otherwise mixed sales picture. With a modernized email infrastructure in place, Heidts now has a scalable revenue channel to support its continued growth and remain competitive in the evolving restomod suspension and chassis market.
